Re: Lukaku racist song
Fucking hell, some people get offended by just about anything these days, bet this started on Twitter or Facebook?

Isn't football fucked enough these days without the PC brigade and those offended on behalf of others joining in.

Unless the club come out and say they will investigate, they will be labelled as racist, offensive etc, when in reality the best thing to do is tell those who seem offended to fuck off and watch the Tennis if they cant watch football without being offended by SONGS.

England, dogs etc

'Racist No , but you're OK with sexist .... Interesting'

Unless you think all 'isms' are equal, it's not interesting at all.

Re: Lukaku racist song
No Longford son I do understand their stance that it is reinforcing the stereotype of black guys having a big schlong. Whether we like it or not it is doing that, not that I give a fuck and neither would most black guys, in fact a black Man U supporter called in to TS today and said it's poor taste but not racist, can't say I agree but it is not derogatory.

What I'm saying is that the same could be applied to the Chica song as it perpetrates the stereotype of Mexicans wearing sombreros and drinking tequila which although not offensive is just as racist.

As others have said we cannot refer to Collins as the Ginger Pele, the Alvin Martin song about having no hair would have no doubt be drummed out these days. It's all a bit pathetic and another reason is, well, a bit shit these days.

What about singing about Dailly's curly hair? Are we suggesting that Scots walk around with pubes stuck to their head?

Jim79 11:12 Tue Sep 19
Re: Lukaku racist song
I understand where the left wing brigade are going with this, denouncing it as perpetuating a racial stereotype but does that mean the Chicharito song is also racist as it mentions sombreros and tequila? And also Carroll being a geordie having a piss up in his flat?

Where does it all end?

Well fuck me as a red faced Irish man I'm not going to claim it's my personal fight but It just doesn't seem right to me.
As far as Andrew Sacks granddaughter is concerned, well having seen the porn, kind of hard to defend her.

Lynching isn't, Lertie, but this song?

Bollocks.

With all due respect.

PS My dad's black, and I only wonder if the melody of this song is good, the words are not meant in any harm at all, so shouldn't be taken so.

I'm too old (and drunk) to get into a debate about the snowflake generation. But while I totally agree about the lack of proportion within much political correctness, I sincerely believe that
while legal lynching is still going on in the States, lazy racist stereotypes are just not acceptable

I too favour the left myself, but i have too disassociate myself with this new wave of liberals who feel they have the right to be insulted on other peoples behalf.

people should be judged on their intentions , ok so the chant is a bit low brow, and not particularly to my taste , but it does not give people the right to compare it to the second coming of the final solution

there is still room in society for humour based on our cultural differences with out people screaming racism.

do you have a problem with the ginger pele chant?

when that difference is no longer prevalent we will be treated as equals

Will any of the black man u fans, who probably love singing this song, get to give evidence in this ridiculous trial by media?

Will they fuck.

Which utter cretin started this bizarre ball rolling? And how would they process our song for Baldock, given he was white?

If Lukaku were a white belgian, banging in goals for the mancs, they may well have sang the exact same words. It's a mark of respect to a footballer, not an attack or insult, when fans sing about them having big knobs or about them being welcome to fuck one's wife.
